How often should filters be changed?

Answered By Edward Parry

Bacteria, microbes, and other form residues can grow up and multiply in filters if not changed regularly or if neglected. Based upon the study changing a filter should occur every 2 months up to 6 months.

For the crucial performance of any filtration systems, its inner part or the membrane should be changed regularly. Most of the time, people forget to clean the membrane causing bacteria and microbes to grow in the filter system and result to contamination.
